Since South Korea made a breakthrough in the entertainment industry in this decade through K-Pop and Koreanovelas, I decided to drop by in Cinema 9, SM Megamall-A last Sept. 19-21.
And oh boy, these films can complete this sentence.
"It's ____________!"
Here's some of my attempts.
Highway Star: "It's not about the genre, it's the music!"
Spellbound: "It's not horror but it's still a third eye concept!"
A Barefoot Dream: "♪It's not about the money, money, money...♪"
Late Blossom: "It's not too late to love; you're just a late bloomer!"
Arahan: "It's the good-for-nothing police officer whose playing the superhero!"
Jeon Woo Chi: "It's not your usual déjà vu!"
Bunt: "It's more fun to be a water pitcher!"
Mind you, you can complete the sentence too after uploading and watching them.

On Celebration and Death in a Day
Sept. 6, 2012
Wednesday
I only spent fifteen pesos for my all my meals.(I just bought a bottle of RC.) Erli cooked his signature Spaghetti Special for brunch and dinner. Xander convinced the other dorm mates to let me buy Selecta Triple Chocolate (but due to a guard's glare in Mercury Drug-Teresa, I manage to buy Nestle Temptations Double Dutch desire with free sugar lite cones instead), ice and Coke for the midnight snack. Both used my labor and time in purchasing plus money from Mark a.k.a "the birthday celebrator". Sure enough, I benefited from it...
Until the death of Rham came (along with the Bukidnon Quake and Tutuban Mall Fire) .
Memories of mine convincing costumers in a bar by a comedic improvisation monologue for his fund raising flashed fast. I remember him as the one of the loving two exes of a clan crush whom I almost kissed on the lips but my lips landed on the nose instead. I thought he could get through with his stomach or intestinal infection that nearly blinded him if we didn't raise funds in time like how he moved on with that prominent player. I knew he won't go on the birthday of his closest friend and also a loving ex of his playboy. Fate proved us wrong.
Then, pain followed while eating my benefits from the feast. Silence jumped in to arouse gratitude. Gratitude for letting that clan crush be crushed by befriending, helping and standing by his loving exes played Alanis Morissette's Thank You in my mind.
I just didn't thank him for waking my intelligence quotient in love and improvisation in acting.
What a perplexing paradox in this fleeting Paradise!

On Laziness
Also known as the "Strategies of the Sloth", these statements answer this question: Why do I bum around?
1. The equipment and the materials to accomplish a specific task is unavailable because I don't have them or somebody uses them.
2. I have prior appointments.
3. The fear of failure prevails.
4. Distractions, a sucker of time, is a variant of illusions that never change into something real.
5. Oblivion (also known as forgetfulness and amnesia) attacks my brain every now and then. (Don't blame old age. We'll cross that bridge.)

On Being a Naughty Netizen
Surpass those supressing surprises!
I am here now, the naughtiest netizen in town. I use my dorm mate's laptop and another dorm mate's internet to write this shit. Aside from drugs, sex, cigars and gambling, internet browsing is one of the vices. Yes, you read it right. It's a vice disguised in a helpless human gadget.
You can access the four obvious vices with a touch of a finger. It also create a sense of cautiousness to break those cookies or go incognito in Google Chrome. You can down a pill, eat that hard sausage, smoke that cigar or bet that card only with your eyes. If these make your mouth water, order all four in just one click. You can devour those graphic, in-your-face sins within your mind. You can kill a person with only one 'Like'.
Why am I playing devil's advocate to you?
I just want you to realize that they exist because of your own fault, silly.
